Our history is exciting. The order of the Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by a small group of men and their 29 year -old parish priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, in the basement of St. Mary's Church on Hillhouse Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut. On May 18, 1951, 44 men along with Father Arthur C. Slade Chartered our Council known as Holy Trinity Council. Our council was the 3,413th of our order under the leadership of Joseph M. Werner, our first Grand Knight. Today, over 50 years later, Holy Trinity is one of over 13,000 councils throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Panama, the Virgin Islands, Guatemala, Guam, and Saipan.

    Our Meetings:
  • Our meetings are open to all Brother Knights in good standing. They are held at the Columbian Center in Severna Park, Maryland.

    Two Regular scheduled meetings include:
  • * A Business Meeting held on the first Thursday of every month at 8 p.m. We gather to conduct the council’s business.
  • * The Social Meeting is the third Monday of every month at 8 p.m. where business is held to a minimum, and following the meeting our Lecturer provides us with the edifying, educational or entertaining programs.

Wives and friends are invited to the Lecturer’s programs. After all meetings, we proceed to Christopher’s Lounge for light refreshments and socializing. All Brothers are encouraged to attend both meetings.
